Are you installed two Operating systems in your computer ? Like windows service pack 2 and windows service pack 3 , or windows 7 and windows vista or Linux and Microsoft windows 7 or other operating systems? Are you wish to remove an operating system from the boot menu (start up page), you can use the following information.
STEP-1: Click on Start, Control Panel, System, Advanced.
STEP-2: Under Startup and Recovery, click Settings.
STEP-3: Under Default Operating System, choose one of the following:
"Microsoft Windows XP Professional /fastdetect"
-or-
"Microsoft Windows Vista /fasdetect"
-or-
"Microsoft Windows Windows 7 /fastdetect"
The above options depends on the operating systems that are running at present .!
STEP-4: Take the checkmark out of the box for "Time to display a list of Operating Systems".
STEP-5: Click Apply and Ok, and reboot (restart) the system.
