Error message "Component transfer error" when i install prince of persia sands of time - parameter incorrect?

Error: The parameter is incorrect.
Resolution
when you get the error message DO NOT click on "ok".
1. Hold ctrl-alt-delete.
2. Go to processes.
3. Right click on "setup.exe" or something like that.
4. Click "end process tree"
then go to your installation directory and it shouldn't have deleted all the files :)
